Texas Ranch Wedding

This was an absolutely fantastic wedding. We had over 500 guests and needed to create a reception befitting this couple. The bride's family has a ranch just asking for an event like this. Rolling hills, lush grass and plenty
of parking. We brought everything on site to create the reception.  The bride definitely had a vision complete with all her favorite comfort foods: Hot Wings, nachos, chocolate fountain, mashed potato bar, grilled lamp chops and so many other yummy treats. Thank goodness for all the rain to keep the land damp or we would not have enjoyed the great fireworks at the end. That was the send off she really wanted.

Wedding Tip: Having your wedding at home or at a site where you can buy your own alcohol or bring in your own caterers does not necessarily save you money.  It can be very expensive to basically build a venue from the flooring, chairs, tables, tenting, stage for the band, comfort stations, etc. Whoever said portable restrooms aren't glamorous, should have seen the high end "5 star hotel" quality restrooms we had. Another thing to consider is that in Central Texas the RSVP count tends to be very high. Everyone wants to come to Austin apparently. If you are inviting 200 guests, be sure you are ok with that many attending. We tend to have a very high guest turn out in the Austin area.
