Dreams come true, Salt Lick Wedding

As much as I love doing weddings there are some that really remind me why I am so blessed to be a
wedding planner. I have rarely felt more personal satisfaction than I did after my December 15th wedding.
I have known the couple casually for many years through my brother in law, but when they contacted me
theywere really torn between a wedding and eloping. All the guess worked changed when the father of the
bride health problems escalated to the point we needed to plan the wedding in two weeks. The bride had
told me she always wanted her dad to walk her down the aisle and have her brother in law perform the
ceremony.  The wedding was spectacular and when her dad slowly escorted her to the altar where her
brother in law waited to join Shannon and Alan in marriage, there was not a dry eye in the house. It was
more touching than I can describe and was a dream come true for the bride.

Looking through the photos is bittersweet knowing Shannon's dad passed away later in December, but
I hope that the memories of the wedding will carry Shannon through the rough times ahead. I know I am
getting all teared up just remembering the night. Many blessings to you and your families.

OH GOODNESS...I immediately teared up seeing the image of the bride with her father. I'm sure she knows now just how much this day meant to her daddy and they will cherish it always
