All types of weddings

I haven't been as diligent as I should be with my postings, so I am trying to look through
my wonderful photos I have received from my photographers and make I get them on line
for you to see. I know it is a great way for brides to see what's fun, trendy and happening
at the many weddings I coordinate. I work with all styles because each of you are different
and my bride's budgets range from $10,000 to over $200,000. The lower the budget the
more creative I have to be and my couples have to be flexible on having what's most
important to them while being willing to compromise in some areas.  I hope regardless of
the budget, a bride will contact me so I can offer her sincere advice on how to make her
wedding happen. I am known for being very direct, so rest assured we can find a good fit
for you. The other coordinators on my team also offer discounted rates to fit your needs.

Many of my brides have day of only packages and use my centerpieces, etiquette
resources and vendor referrals to plan their big days. I know many have told me they
wish they had hired me before hiring some of their vendors. I have a very extensive list of
area vendors that I trust with the important task of delivering what you paid for on your
wedding day. Trust is a huge bond with myself and my vendors. Your dollars are well spent
with my preferred vendors and they can't buy their way onto my list. It's based strictly on
service, quality and product. So, even if you only need day of service be sure to bring me
on board as soon as possible to begin the hiring of vendors. If you are already nearly
complete with your planning we can still wrap up the loose ends and get a solid time line in
order for your vendors to work from. Having one main point of contact is helpful to each
and every vendor. Remember that your church coordinators are there to be sure the rule
of the church are followed, the caterer or site manager is there to be sure your room is set
up per your diagram and the food is in order. Neither is a wedding planner and is not
going to sew popped tux buttons, repair a torn bustle, drive to pick up a forgotten first
dance song or organize your attendants for photos. The list goes on and on, but be sure
to keep all our jobs separate. A planners main focus is the couple and making sure the
wedding you have described runs smoothly.

My more full service or custom package brides may have more demanding schedules or
perhaps they live outside of Austin and need a more hands on approach from me. We
can work around your geographical limitations and find you the perfect vendors without
needing to have you in Austin at all.  If you are in Austin but just have a very limited time
to complete all your appointments, it helps to have us on hand to visit vendors with
you asking the right questions, saving you money along the way and preventing you
from wasting time at your meetings. Being efficient is the same as being very productive
in my book.  Why waste your time and money interviewing 10 bands when we can
narrow it down to 3 super choices? The same goes for photographers, bakeries, linens,
etc. If you only have two days to find your perfect venue, it's better to give us the details
because we can eliminate 10 or more due to size restraints, budget concern or bad past
customer service. Saying coordinators earn their money in what they save you with time
and discounts is an understatement. You may receive 10% off from a few vendors, a
free engagement session from a photographer, a free hour from a DJ company, but in
the long run all that does add up and your budget will thank us.

I hope this helps in your planning,
Barbara
