I have been to the Salt Lick countless times for weddings both at the Salt Lick, Thurman
Mansion and have even used them for catering, but I had never eaten at their restaurant.
How weird is that? We met some of my husband's family there last Saturday night for
dinner. Tips: Put your name down immediately, know exactly how many guests are
coming, bring your own beverages in a cooler (really bummed we didn't do that).
Thankfully, there were girl scouts selling cookies. We only bought about 12 boxes at area
stores and our neighborhood so far,  so what is another 2 boxes.

Here are my gorgeous boys. They really growing up fast.
While we were waiting, we were discussing how cool it is that kids inherit different
features from each parent.  Our oldest looks like me with dad's coloring and our youngest
looks like dad with mom's coloring. Genetics are too cool.
