One of the first things my husband and I said to each other yesterday was "Do you know what
day it is?" We both are very moved by the thought of Pearl Harbor. I think it's impossible to
have visited the actual site and ever forget the sadness that overwhelms you. Watching the
video prior to the boat trip out to the monument and standing over the water with oil still
coming to the surface is very humbling. So many decades have passed but still for the few
men and women left who were there in person on that fateful day, they can never forget the
chaos, devastation and death that shocked the nation.  Please remember those who fought
and died for our freedom.
