Celebrity Wedding Experts

I was waiting for several missing great photos from my recent Grand
Cayman trip to the amazing June wedding symposium, Engage '09.
Not only did I fall in love with the beauty of Grand Cayman, I met so
many wedding industry leaders and was very surprised with how open
they were to helping the attendees succeed. I feel more prepared than
ever to take care of my current and future brides by giving them the
coordinating services I now believe only I can deliver.  Here are a few
of my favorite photos.

Great dinner with Marcy Blum at restaurant Luca. Her off the cuff
comments were so refreshing and her success is phenomenal. She
made such a point of including every person at our table in the
conversations while still giving each of us our "moment". I loved
hearing how the Disney Weddings started with an idea on a "post it"
note, to how she does 3 day events around the world and all with her
unique sense of humor. I am hooked on the Marcy Blum philosophy.

The brilliant and inspiring, Simon T. Bailey was so uplifting whether
you apply his advice to your personal life, wedding planning business,
raising kids or just finding answers to living more brilliantly.

We should all hope to be this fabulous at age 60. Preston Bailey is too
spectacular for words. His work and stories encourage everyone to
reach higher, but also grounded us by telling us "Stop thinking you
are the best and no one is better. There is always someone better".
Hearing him describe the difference between being jealous of Colin
Cowie vs. being green with envy. "Be yourself and enjoy your own
business.  Words to live by!

My most treasured swag bag gift. Not only do I love wearing dangling
earrings but they are my favorite color.  It was fun seeing the other
attendees in their earrings and aqua pashimas.

I have met Carley from "the knot" many times in Austin and love her books.

You can tell we weren't having any fun at all starting from the very
first night at the beach party. Texas had the highest attendance at
the event. There were 5 of us from Austin enjoying the beautiful
sunset. Thanks for the great memories, ladies.

I am ready to head back to the beach for sunsets and a Pina Colada,
