Back to School
Today was an interesting day as I took my sons back to
school. We would have loved another month off to go
to the pool, movies, playing in the sprinklers all day with
their friends, Popsicles, kool-aid, eating pancakes for
dinner or having our PJ days when we would just hang out.
That is the fun of summer and today it officially ended.
It was precious watching the new kindergarten kids with
backpacks having their photos taken by crying moms. I
remember all too well those days. I was anxious just a
bit today, but seeing my boys smiling they walked out
of their schools put my mind at ease. We stopped for
frozen yogurts after school and tried to stretch out the
summer days just a bit more.
Best wishes on a great school year to all my brides who
are teachers (Bless you!) and to those who are still
students.
