Today was a wonderful day because I had lunch with my 4th grade son at his
school. Every year at elementary schools grandparents are invited to join their
grandkids at school for lunch. Unfortunately, our parents don't live nearby, so I
have always had lunch with my boys at school on Grandparent's Day bringing
them their favorite meal to share. My oldest is in middle school now, so I miss
having those times with him, but today was about my youngest. He asked me
to bring Panda Express for lunch.
Our fortune cookies:
His "You are smart and witty". We had fun discussing the meaning of witty.
Mine "Lavish spending may be disastrous. Be careful". Wow, that is
definitely worth taking to heart.
We laughed because they were so perfect for each of us.
