It's All in the Details
One of my most important jobs as a wedding planner is to help a bride bring her
wedding vision to life. Some brides don't always know where to start and others
have planned it down to the last detail already.
I love it when photographers capture the details because in the rush of the
wedding day, the little details really do matter to the bride. A lot of thought went
into each color choice, linen type, cake layer, floral centerpiece, program logo,
exit song and the list goes on and on. Why? Because it makes brides happy to plan
out the most important day of their life down to the color of their signature drink.
Here are some of the special details from our weddings over the years.

The bride put a lot of thought into creating her stationery and continued it with
both of the cake designs.

Love the fabulous something "blue" for the bride's shoes

Many generations of wedding gowns with photos of the dresses to the right.

Unique ideas sometimes become a trend that I begin to see for several years

Mini cakes for each couple to take home

The bride had a destination feel at Vintage Villas with gorgeous black and red

The veil had been worn by many women in the bride's family and she wore a garter
that had been worn by brides on the groom's side since the civil war. The bride
signed a scroll that his great aunt presented that all the previous brides had signed.
The bride removed the garter right after the ceremony for safe keeping.

All the tables were named after the couple's favorite ice cream flavors

Adding a touch of family tradition and culture is always wonderful

The dish pattern matched the invitations and menu cards. It was elegant and tropical.

Fun buckets for big and little kids to enjoy

Pinning a cherished family heirloom on your bouquet is a great way to showcase
your something old and borrowed.

This bouquet is wrapped with the lace from the groom's mother's wedding
day hat and a beautiful token to celebrate and remember their special day.

Many fantastic treats to enjoy and all in shades of blue just like the rest of the wedding

The couple named their tables after all their favorite Austin hang outs

A Mexican Martini was their signature drink with the drink recipe on all the tables

An exit Ferrari all the men were drooling over

The silver winter theme was carried out on the guest card table

The bride loved to walk the Marble Falls Trail of Lights every Christmas, so it
was the perfect ending to her fairy tale wedding day.
This post is obviously longer than I intended, but hopefully you can
see how important the details were to each of these brides and may
have inspired you to find the perfect items to reflect your vision.
