Wedding Budgets
Last week was very interesting interacting with several new brides who contacted
me about possibly working together. They loved my website, they were amazed at
the beautiful weddings I had created and wanted to have many of the same amazing
features at their own weddings. One of the problems though is they want me to
lower my rates substantially to match many of the less experienced Austin wedding
planners in order to fit within their budget.
I do research other companies to see what they provide, view their galleries,
check if they have blogs which most do not have and look through their experience
and packages page. Honestly, I am not competing with planners with 1-3 years
experience that charge $350-$700 for wedding planning. They charge less because
they are building their experience and portfolios. They have not worked with over
1,000 brides like I have. I worked with bride for many years in Southern California
before moving here 15 years ago. My level experience takes years to earn. You
can not alleviate stress like I do if you have not fixed countless wedding problems.
Hiring a less expensive wedding planner will usually cost much more in the long run.
Investing in an experienced wedding expert is crucial to making your budget work.
You are paying for our expertise, vendor discounts, guidance, prompt replies and
a higher comfort level.
I understand that when a wedding budget is tight couples need to cut corners in
order to save money and with my past wedding experience I know which vendors
have lower price options without compromising on quality. I can find or at least
recommend vendors that deliver the look you are envisioning within your budget.
You don't need a huge budget to have an amazing wedding, but you need the right
planner with the tools to make it happen.
Look at this link for an example of brides who had a vision, but what working with
a less reputable, inexperienced vendor did on their wedding days.
