Texas Summer Weddings
It's been a very busy summer although many people assume that wedding
season slows down in July in Texas. Not true! The one key rule we have at
Barbara's Brides however is your comfort as well as your guests. The best
summer wedding in Austin has air conditioning and shade. A fainting bride
or guest is not a good thing. If you must have an outside ceremony then
keep it short, offer fans, ice water and an inside alternative for your guests
to cool down in right after the ceremony ends.

your ceremony or first dance and then head inside for a perfect sunset view

indoor venue my brides always love.
Hamilton Twelve gives brides a touch of Tuscany with their fantastic menus and
one of a kind design wedding location.
The Mansion on Judge's Hill has the perfect courtyard for an intimate ceremony
year round and a quaint French Quarter feel. The indoor space and patio are
conveniently located right upstairs.
Shoreline has been a favorite spot of mine for many years. Keeping the guests hydrated and
only outside for a very short ceremony gives one of Austin's most tropical back drops. The
guests can move inside quickly and enjoy the rest of the wedding comfortably.
