Austin City Limits 2011 Dates
Mark your calendars September 16-18, 2011. One of the biggest
events each year in Austin is ACL or Austin City Limits Music Festival.
Zilker Park is packed for 3 days of music which means so are the
hotels in Austin. So, if you are planning your wedding and considering
a date over the weekend of September 16-18 prepare yourself for what
comes with weddings over ACL weekend. If most of your guests are
all local and hotels aren't an issue, than you should be fine other than a
lot of people (traffic), but if you are having out of town guests book your
hotel rooms early and expect higher than standard rates. Be sure to
send your Save the Dates as early as possible.
We had a wedding over this year's ACL weekend and so many of the
guests bought their ACL tickets early and enjoyed not only the wedding
festivities, but also a great Austin experience at ACL.
