Merry Christmas

We are not traveling for the holidays and look forward to cherished family time for Christmas.
Christmas Day is spent cooking, watching Christmas classics, playing with the new toys,
making new family memories. This year we are participating in our church's Christmas Eve
children program. I hope you are able to spend time with loved ones and celebrate the endless
blessings of this season.
Here are some personal family photos to share our Christmas spirit with you.

This is our family tree. We always have a real tree because my grandparents
had tree farm while I was growing up and I still love the smell of fresh, noble fir.
Every Christmas we rotate the star and an angel. The gold and silver ribbon is
from our wedding day twenty years ago.

Most of our ornaments are homemade by my boys during their preschool
and elementary school years. The one above is one of my very favorites though
taken 6 years ago in Hawaii. One of my favorite parts of Christmas is the
excitement watching my boys unwrap all their favorite ornaments to hang on the
Christmas tree. We are usually watching animated Christmas shows and drinking
eggnog while we decorate.
Merry Christmas to everyone,
Barbara
