Shoreline December Wedding
I worked with Tanya and her mom for nearly a year for Tanya's December wedding.
Tanya and Eric really fell in love with Shoreline when we toured it. The water view and
relaxed setting were just what they wanted for their wedding. We discussed the feel
of the wedding, what type of menu was important and were able to create a very
personal wedding that reflected the polished look her mom wanted without it being
stuffy or overdone which the couple wanted to avoid.
When you are planning an Austin wedding be sure your coordinator knows what you
want, what is most and least important to you not just for the wedding venue, but
whether other aspects are permitted. For instance if you want fireworks, is it even a
consideration at your venue? Can you have a sparkler exit or what are the different rain
plan options? Based on the time of month and date you are getting married, when does
the sun set? Your wedding planner needs to organize the vendors for the day of the
wedding, including the ceremony time in order for the photographer to still have enough
sun light for photos after the wedding.
Our main hurdle was having our main contact at Shoreline leave a few months after we
started the planning. We worked well with the second catering manager, but then she
left Shoreline and we had a third catering manager start three months before the wedding.
Having a personal wedding planner to work at your side makes that type of challenge
far less stressful because we know the details, the design, the menu and what has been
discussed throughout the year of planning. Shoreline is a great venue for a wedding and
I will have many more weddings there over the coming year.
The weather was beautiful and although it wasn't the crisp, December weather the bride
had envisioned the guests were able to enjoy the outdoor patio all night.

Butterflies played a role throughout the wedding day in subtle touches.

Tanya in her dad's pride and joy.

Thanks to Tyler with The Mill Photography Studio for such a great night.
I took a photo of the beautiful stained glass that Eric's dad made for all the guest tables
as his gift to the couple. The bride's table had an added panel with butterflies for her.

Thank you to following wonderful vendors who helped make the day so special:

Barbara, How do you say thank you enough for making my daughters wedding perfect. We did have some challenges and I never worried because I knew you would handle them. When people would ask me if I was nervous, I could reply with confidence "Not at all". You are the ultimate professional, and wear many hats with complete grace. Thank you again foe helping in making my daughters dream come true. Diana
