Amazing Driskill Bridal Event
To say we were excited to participate in the Driskill's Bridal Event on February 20, 2011
would be an understatement. We were in great company with several of Austin's top
wedding planners and their great vendor teams. The Driskill wanted to showcase all of
its amazing rooms by having each planner design a different and unique look. We were
thrilled to have the Driskill ballroom all to ourselves. We worked with Bouquets of Austin
on a variety of ideas and decide to create a soft, lush, romantic ceremony area using golds
and ivory tones along with the Driskill's gold chairs to show how much the room already
has to work with for brides with conservative or generous budgets. We absolutely loved
the end result and have been busy in planning meetings with many brides from that event.

I have wanted to do a dreamy, dramatic floral drape off the back of ceremony chairs for quite some
time and was ecstatic that Stephanie with Bouquets of Austin brought them to life. She also did a
more cost effective ribbon drape to finish off the aisle markers.

Simple, elegant markers on every other chair in the wedding colors were great finishing touch.

Chandeliers give you the perfect opportunity for hanging candles, crystals, ribbons
flowers or ivy to soften the room. It completed our classic, elegant wedding setting.

Another absolutely gorgeous item. Whether you use if for an elaborate bridal party table, guest tables, a registration area or for the wedding programs leading into the ceremony.

Fabulous gowns from Alexia Gavela were displayed. We also had gowns from Linda Asaf but no
photos are available unfortunately.

Thanks to all our wonderful wedding vendors that worked to bring my vision to life.

I can't wait to re-create different versions of this design in a variety of colors and styles for
our future brides in 2011 and 2012.
