20 years ago today
No laughing at the very 80's influenced wedding I had 20 years ago. We were married
in San Diego on Sunday, September 1, 1991 at a beautiful venue on the water.
I recently saw my sweet flower girl, Rachel who is now all grown up and has an adorable
little girl of her own.
I have to laugh at the style choices back then, but it honestly was very fashionable at
the time. Compared to what I design now for all my brides its always comforting to
me that I did stay true to myself with my grandmother's heart pin, simple black and
white decor, a smaller guest list and getting married just before sunset on the water. I do
the same with my brides reminding them to add the most important details that they
want for their wedding day.
