Madeline Manor Styled Shoot

I have been working with Regina Peek, the owner of Madeline Manor for several months. She has a beautiful venue in Kyle and I saw so much wedding potential at my very first visit. Regina has a great personal style that is reflected in venue decorating taste. I knew that we had to create a styled shoot at her venue and showcase all the beautiful wedding locations and reception highlights Madeline Manor offers.  As an Austin wedding planner, I spend the majority of my time coordinating and designing real weddings, so when I started to put together my ideas for this styled shoot I wanted to feature different wedding gowns and décor styles. It was a wonderful day and it all came together to create a stunning day. An extra heartfelt thanks to Sherry Hammonds Photography for capturing all the details so perfectly!

I have looked through these photos more times than I can count and really can’t decide if my future Austin couples will want their weddings at Madeline Manor to reflect a modern, stylish wedding or a romantic, garden event with a touch of whimsy.  There is so much potential at this venue and I can’t wait to share it with new couples.

Driskill Winter Wedding Fun

Lia and Tye are such an enjoyable couple and were a good team in starting their wedding plans. They hired me eight weeks before their wedding to pull together the final vendors and wedding details at one of my favorite Austin venues, The Driskill. The groom’s parents have an amazing home near Zilker Park and hosted a wonderful rehearsal dinner on Friday night. The wedding day was crisp, but not nearly as cold as February could have been.

I love seeing all the details come together at weddings, especially when they reflect what the couple loves.  They definitely had one of the most epic cake cuttings I’ve seen in a long time, I loved their photo booth cut-outs of our favorite Texans Matthew McConaughey, BEVO and Willie Nelson not to mention the non-stop dancing thanks to Blind Date. December Driskill Wedding by Barbara’s Brides

Alison has a very busy work schedule, her mom lives in Florida and her fiance is active duty military. She wanted more than day of wedding planning and wanted to still be involved in the planning. The most challenging part of the planning was keeping the band a secret in order to surprise the groom. They were his favorite so we did all that we could to keep it a secret until the great reveal. The groom was stateside in October which made everything better for Alison.  Nothing like having a military fiance on home soil.
